Working Natural Skin Care into Your Existing Beauty Routine

Often people avoid natural skin care because they assume it will be too hard to change. In reality, natural skin care can work within or in place of any beauty regimen.

Many advantages come with natural skin care, including:

* Safety from manmade chemicals that some types of skin care include.

* Conserving resources by using natural cosmetic products.

* Setting a good example for living a green lifestyle.

You may decide to keep some of your old favorites temporarily or indefinitely. Incorporate your new natural skin care gradually. You will spread out your expenses and take it easy on your skin by introducing products a few at a time.

* Step One: As you run out of products, replace them with natural counterparts. You could pick a new avocado and vitamin E moisturizer to replace the one you use now.

* Step Two: Pick the product up first for replacement. Replace the things you most want to try first. The natural products you are drawn to may enhance your beauty regimen. Natural toners protect makeup and still moisturize skin. Try keeping a small bottle of toner in your desk at work for easy access.

* Step Three: Try out lots of things to see what you like best. Try reading online reviews and buying sample sizes to determine what natural skin care products you want to keep on permanently. Find the best product for you, then move onto another aspect of your routine. Keep that new natural product in your beauty routine from now on.

Once natural skin care becomes part of your daily skin care routine, you will never want to lose it. Natural skin care products affect more than just people’s appearances. They also feel less stress and more alert throughout the day. This makes natural skin care products extremely attractive regardless of your age and skin type, so look into your options today.

Find Allergy Relief With An Air Purifier

People who have allergies can best keep their symptoms under control by minimizing their exposure to the allergens that set them off. If your allergies come from allergens found in the air, you may want to try using an allergy relief air purifier or even a car air purifier. There are many different brands and models of home air purifiers on the market, which means you’ll have to decide which will perform the best in controlling your allergies.

The problem with some home air purifiers is the ozone they produce. Ozone is an unstable molecule that is a combination of three oxygen atoms. The instability of the molecule causes it to break into a more stable oxygen pair with the third oxygen atom being released as a free radical. The electrically charged oxygen atoms are very reactive and these reactions can be harmful to your health. The presence of these free radicals is potentially dangerous to your lungs. It is thought that these free radicals can increase your likelihood of developing serious illnesses like cancer or asthma. Since these oxygen free radicals are known to be a problem for the respiratory system, you shouldn’t use these types of home air purifiers if you suffer from asthma.

While home air purifiers don’t typically generate enough ozone to harm you, you will notice the characteristic smell of ozone while they are running. Ozone is used in air purification systems because these molecules readily bind to particulate matter in the air, such as many of the common airborne allergens. Some home air purifiers use an electrical charge created with metal plates instead of ozone to remove impurities like pollen and pet dander. Fans move the air through the system with impurities being trapped by the charged metal plates. With these home air purifiers, you need to clean the metal plates weekly.

Using an allergy relief air purifier won’t make your allergies vanish, but it will go a long way towards making you feel better by making your symptoms appear much less frequently. By significantly reducing the amount of smoke, dust, pollen, dander and other allergenic particles in the air around you, you’ll have symptoms far less often. Home air purifiers vary by their capacity; a small air purifier does well for a 10’ x 15’ room, but if the space you want to use it in is much bigger than this, you’ll have to get a larger and pricier one.

Any home air purifiers you choose should have HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters. HEPA filters do not let the particles that the air purifier attracts to the metal plates make their way back into the air, which is important for air quality. Some HEPA filters are washable and can be reused, though this is by no means always the case. A HEPA filter may need to be replaced every couple of years or last as long as ten years; usually as long as the home air purifier itself. One thing to keep in mind is that the price doesn’t always correlate to the quality or the useful life of HEPA filters.

The sound level of your home air purifier may also be important to you. A good quality home air purifier will be quiet enough you don’t even know it is running. If you’re sensitive to noise, it should be noted that some home air purifiers make popping, crackling noises due to the electrical fields they generate. Others have very loud fans, even to the extent of making it difficult to sleep. A good air filter in your HVAC system is a must; but if you really want to get your air clean and free of allergens, you’ll want to consider picking up home air purifiers for your home office, bedroom or any other room you spend a lot of your time in.
